About & Mission

Who we are, what we believe and how we work.

Our story

Green and Beyond is a women-led nonprofit in Loudoun County, Virginia, serving the community since November 2021. It began with neighbors cooking meals and collecting essentials for people staying in local shelters.

Through our Annapurna program, volunteers cook and deliver fresh vegetarian meals and groceries to partners such as Mobile Hope Loudoun and Bethany House of Northern Virginia. Each winter our Winter Care Drive brings coats, blankets and warm essentials directly to people living on the streets of Washington, DC. We also run drives for toys, books and school supplies, host networking events and career workshops for women, and offer youth meditation and service projects so families can give back together.

Our mission

Fighting against hunger, promoting healthy living and empowering women, through a youth-led, volunteer-driven organization.

Our vision

A community where every family has what it needs, and everyone has a way to give back.

Our values

Compassion

We treat everyone we serve with dignity and respect.

Stewardship

We care for resources, both donated dollars and the natural world, responsibly.

Transparency

We are open about how we use every gift.

Community

We work alongside neighbors, not just for them.
